A Sense of Place
O’Reilly was awarded a % for art commission to make artwork for the new school St. Joseph’s National School, Rathwire, Killucan, Co Westmeath. The commission consists of a series of 8 large woodblock prints exploring the local architecture, history, archaeology and folklore. The prints were printed at Graphic Studio Dublin on Fabriano 285 gsm. Each print is 68.5cm wide by 71cm high. O’Reilly also worked with 5th and 6th class on research and the children also created their own artwork as part of the commission.
